Activities at Alexander House
Activities are always offered and participation is encouraged. We would like our residents to be involved in social activities, either within the home or outside.
We organised the physical exercise class for all our residents every Wednesday. We would like our residents to have fun and keep healthy.
Here we decorate and celebrate birthdays for all residents, and parties are also organised to welcome friends and families to enjoy the celebrations.
We also have activities and services tailored to those residents who prefer the quiet life, such as jigsaws, manicures or simply a friendly chat and a cup of tea. We always do our best to learn about residents’ hobbies and interests and try to arrange our activities programme around their individual likes and dislikes.
Relatives and visitors are always welcome to enjoy the time with our residents, as all residents are encouraged to regard Alexander House as their home. Alexander House is praised for its homely, happy, and relaxed atmosphere.
We will organise a summer party and Christmas party every year. All relatives and friends are encouraged to come and celebrate with us. Nice food, drinks and live music are always provided. We hope all our residents, families, friends and our staff will enjoy the time and have fun.
We had a lovely Christmas Party on the 14th of December. Delicious party food and drinks, fun quiz and we all sang Christmas songs together. It was a memorable moment - thanks to everyone. A few photos from the party below:
