Job Description:

Provide a high level of care to our residents ensuring their wellbeing

Provide personal care, maintaining a high level of hygiene

Assisting our residents as necessary

Identifying and assisting with residents’ needs
-
Supporting our residents to maintain their independence
Skills/Qualifications:
-
Care experience of at least 2 years (preferred)
-
Care certificate NVQ L2 (preferred, not compulsory)

Staff who lives locally is preferred
Cook

Job Description:
Join us as a cook, to be a part of a team where everybody plays an important role, supporting each other and coming together to create outstanding care while also making our Residents happy. Our Management Team has collectively a handful of experience caring for our residents and building an outstanding team! That knowledge and experience are shared in the close monitoring and support of your progress within the Alexander House. We are committed to making each day count for our residents.
Skills/Quality:

Experience in preparing and cooking food for an elderly group of people.

Experience of working in a care home/hospital environment preferred but not essential

Shares ideas with others [to make improvements]

Keen to learn and improve own performance

Must be able to work flexible shifts

Will go the extra mile to help fulfil the Residents needs

Proven competency in nutritionally balanced menu planning
