Viky Koolwant

Registered Manager

My name is Viky Koolwant, and I possess over two decades of extensive experience in the care sector. I embarked on my professional journey in 2003, commencing my career as a care assistant. Throughout the years, I have diligently worked my way up the career ladder, acquiring a wealth of knowledge and expertise along the way.

I have had the privilege of managing multiple care homes that cater to a diverse range of populations, including individuals with learning disabilities, the elderly, those experiencing mental health challenges, and residents requiring supported living arrangements. This extensive managerial experience has afforded me the opportunity to develop a comprehensive understanding of the unique needs and complexities associated with each demographic.

In terms of my educational qualifications, I have achieved a Diploma Level 5 in Health and Social Care, which equipped me with the essential skills and knowledge to effectively deliver high-quality care. Additionally, I have attained a Diploma Level 7 in Health and Social Care Management, further enhancing my leadership abilities and strategic understanding of care services.

Furthermore, I hold a Diploma in Caring for Older People, which underscores my commitment to contributing to the well-being and quality of life for senior individuals. My dedication to the field of care has been fortified through these qualifications and my extensive hands-on experience, positioning me as a knowledgeable and skilled professional in this vital sector.

Our residents, patients, and their families expect great service, therefore our professional and dedicated management team actively recruits people who are focused on continually improving the quality of life for the people in our care.

Our staff are as diverse and as individual as our residents and patients. We promote equal opportunities and encourage all our employees to treat one another and those we care for with honesty and respect. We aim to create a family environment in our home so our residents feel at home.

The learning doesn’t stop there. Our team have opportunities throughout their career; from refreshing their knowledge and learning new skills, to continue their personal and professional development.

We also actively encourage our people to review their performance and develop their role and to actively participate in externally accredited training and qualifications.
