Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information

Our care home has measures in place to keep residents and staff safe.

We are well equipped and have good stocks of high quality personal protective equipment (PPE) which comply with government requirements in our home. 

​

Our staff are well trained and experienced in ensuring a clean and sterile environment and are committed to protecting everyone living and working in our homes through the consistent use of infection control measures. These measures include regular hand washing, social distancing (where possible), increased cleaning using a high-quality product, putting on clean clothes upon arrival at the care home and the proper use of the correct PPE.

While the way we do some things has had to change, we work hard to keep day-to-day life for residents as normal as possible. Our food is still freshly made, with a choice of menu daily and our staff ensures that residents have varied activities each day, should they wish to take part. Relatives and loved ones are encouraged to maintain regular contact and we ensure this is facilitated using technology.

You can be reassured that our commitment to deliver safe care is being recognised by the independent regulator of health and social care in England. The Care Quality Commission (CQC) are assessing how well individual care homes have managed the challenges of the coronavirus pandemic and we are proud that so far, we have passed all assessments. Find out more here
